✦ Wedding Celebrant & MC · Sydney
Sydney's professionally caffeinated wedding celebrant and MC — crafting ceremonies that are warm, personal, and completely, unforgettably you.
Your Celebrant
I genuinely believe I have one of the best jobs in the world — getting to know two people, hearing the story of how they found each other, and helping turn that story into one of the most meaningful moments of their lives.
I believe a wedding ceremony can be so much more than a legal formality — which is exactly why I offer both: a simple, beautifully handled Legals Only option for those who want it straightforward, and a fully bespoke experience for those who want every detail to feel like them.
Whether you want a ceremony that brings happy tears, plenty of laughter, or those perfectly imperfect inside jokes that only your closest friends and family understand, my role is to create something that feels natural, authentic, and completely yours.
As both a marriage celebrant and professional reception MC, I see your wedding day as one beautiful story from beginning to end. From our first conversation together through to your final dance, I help bring calm, confidence, and energy to every moment so you can be fully present and enjoy the day you have spent so long planning.
Your story is unique. Your ceremony should be too.
✦ Packages & Pricing
Every couple is different. Here are three ways I can be part of your story — and if none of them feel quite right, just reach out. We can always create something bespoke.
Getting married doesn't mean booking into a registry waiting room. Hold it at our wedding studio, or I'll come to you — home, park, beach, wherever feels right.
The full Bryan experience — a ceremony written entirely around your story, your voices, and your people, delivered with heart from start to finish.
Complete peace of mind for your whole day, from your first guest's arrival to your very last dance.

✦ Love Notes
Nothing makes me happier than knowing I played a small part in your biggest day.
We had many guests tell us it was the best ceremony they had ever attended. Every word felt personal, warm, and completely us. We could not have asked for more.
October 2025 · Sydney
From our very first chat, we knew we were in the best hands. The ceremony was funny, moving, and flowed perfectly. Our guests were laughing and crying in equal measure.
April 2026 · Sydney
We did a small ceremony and Bryan made it feel so special and intimate. Not once did it feel like a transaction — it felt like he genuinely cared. Highly recommend.

Most Popular Questions
Celebrant fees across Australia typically range from around $600 to $3,000+, depending on experience, location, and what's included. My packages start from $650 for a simple Legals Only ceremony, right through to $2,700+ for a fully bespoke Ceremony & MC experience.
I recommend booking at least 3–12 months in advance, especially for Sydney's peak wedding season (October–April). That said, I occasionally have availability for shorter-notice bookings — always feel free to ask!
Absolutely! I'm based in Sydney and happy to travel across NSW and beyond. Travel fees may apply for locations further afield — just let me know your venue and we'll work it out together.
I do — I split my time as both a celebrant and a professional MC. If you book my Ceremony & MC package, I carry your day as one continuous story, from the ceremony through to your final send-off, keeping the energy and timeline on track the whole way through.
Ceremony Types
This is a simple, legally binding ceremony without the trimmings — just the vows and paperwork required to make it official. It's popular with couples planning an overseas or destination wedding later, needing marriage for visa reasons, or wanting something very private and low-key.
An elopement is just the two of you (plus your two required witnesses) — no guest list, no reception, just your vows in a spot that means something to you. I love these for the closeness they bring; it's still a full, meaningful ceremony, just a quieter one.
Yes to both. Vow renewals are a lovely way to mark an anniversary or simply recommit to each other, and they carry no legal paperwork — just celebration. Commitment ceremonies work the same way for couples who want to publicly declare their relationship without a legal marriage.
The Booking Process
I'll get back to you within 2–3 hours (generally quicker!) to set up a free, no-obligation discovery chat. From there, if we're a good fit, I'll send through a proposal and booking agreement, and once that's signed and your date is secured, we get started on your ceremony.
Always. That first discovery chat — whether over coffee or a video call — is exactly for this. There's no pressure and no obligation; it's simply a chance for us to get to know each other and make sure I'm the right celebrant for your day.
I maintain a trusted network of fellow registered celebrants for exactly this scenario. In the rare case I'm unable to attend, I'll arrange a qualified replacement and hand over your ceremony script and all the details, so your day goes ahead without a hitch.
On the Day
Most ceremonies run between 20 and 30 minutes, though this flexes depending on how many readings, rituals, or personal touches you'd like to include. We'll map out timing together well before the day so there are no surprises.
Yes — and I love it when couples do. I can help guide you through writing them, give feedback, or draft them for you entirely. Whatever feels right for you both.
Definitely — readings, unity rituals, sand or candle ceremonies, cultural traditions, even a beloved pet as ring bearer. If it means something to you, we'll find a way to weave it in naturally.
Absolutely. Many of the couples I work with are blending two cultures, languages, or family traditions, and I see that as a privilege, not a complication. We'll work together to honour both sides authentically.
You need two witnesses, and both must be over 18 and able to understand the language the ceremony is conducted in. Beyond that, it's entirely up to you — close friends, siblings, parents, whoever feels right.
Every word. I don't work from templates — I sit down with you, learn your story, and write your ceremony script from scratch, then refine it with you until it feels exactly right.
Legal Stuff
Yes — under the Marriage Act 1961, every wedding in Australia must be conducted by an authorised marriage celebrant, whether that's a civil celebrant like me, or a minister of religion. It's what makes your marriage legally recognised.
Beyond writing and delivering your ceremony, I take care of the legal side of getting married — lodging your Notice of Intended Marriage, preparing the paperwork, and signing and lodging your certificate of marriage afterwards. I make sure everything is legally sorted, while your ceremony still feels personal and true to you.
On the day, I give you an official certificate of marriage — but the full, government-issued marriage certificate you'll need for things like changing your name comes from your state or territory's Births, Deaths & Marriages registry, usually a few weeks after the wedding, once I've lodged the paperwork.
About Bryan
To become a civil celebrant in Australia, you need to complete a Certificate IV in Celebrancy (or equivalent), pass a fit-and-proper-person check, and be approved and registered by the Attorney-General's Department. It's an ongoing responsibility too — registered celebrants complete ongoing professional development every year to stay on the register.
Yes! I'm a Commonwealth-registered Marriage Celebrant, regulated by the Attorney-General's Department. You can check the register of celebrants to verify.
